InsuLayout Pro ("we", "our", or "the Application") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your personal information when you use our mobile application and associated services on Android and Web.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect the minimum amount of information required to provide professional industrial calculation, layout saving, and cloud backup functionality:
If you sign in via Google Authentication or email, we collect your name, email address, and unique user ID provided by Google Firebase to maintain your user profile and sync your saved job data across your devices.
Calculations, sheet metal nesting configurations, piping spool lists, work charts, custom material parameters, and field notes you create are stored locally on your device and, if signed in, synchronized to secure Google Cloud Firestore databases associated with your account.
We may receive standard anonymized diagnostic information (operating system version, device model, crash telemetry) to diagnose application bugs and ensure offline computational accuracy.
2. On-Device Offline Computation
All mathematical layout calculations (segmented gore elbows, concentric/eccentric reducers, branch tees, nesting algorithms) run 100% locally on your device. The app does not transmit your raw geometric calculations or confidential proprietary jobsite measurements to third-party advertising networks.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We utilize trusted third-party cloud services that adhere to stringent security standards:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud Platform: For secure user authentication and cloud database synchronization. (Google Privacy Policy)
- Google Play Services: For application licensing, in-app billing, and framework runtime support.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain industrial layout calculation tools.
- To authenticate your identity and sync your saved work across authorized devices.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical faults and safety compliance issues.
5. Data Retention and Deletion Rights
You have full control over your data. You may delete your locally stored jobs and calculation history at any time directly through the app's Settings tab. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated cloud-stored data, you can do so in-app or by contacting us at the email address below.
6. Security of Your Information
We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL in transit and AES-256 at rest) to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
7. Children's Privacy
InsuLayout Pro is designed for professional tradespeople, engineers, and industrial contractors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date".
